This has to be one of my favourite and most easy recipes. It was made for me many years ago by my very good friend, Karen and I couldn’t believe how easy it was.
The other thing that surprised me was the taste. I have never been a big fish fan and back when I first tried this, I really couldn’t stand fish.
This dish is made woth smoked haddock and peas topped with salsa sauce and grated cheese.
The combination of the salty smoked haddock and the chilli spice of the salsa means that it really doesn’t taste fishy at all.
The ultimate for me is the melted cheese on top which adds both texture and flavour!


2 smoked haddock fillets

1 jar salsa sauce

150g grated hard cheese
