I recently met Simon Dougan, Chef at award winning Yellow Door at a Fivemiletown Cheese event.  What a lovely man he is!  I grabbed my opportunity to ask him my favourite question and happily he obliged.  He did admit to stealing his recipe from his wife but thats ok with me.  I will warn you- its a controversial choice!  Watch the video and let me know what you think.

  1. I know someone whose perfect cheese on toast involved a grilled soda farl, thick slices of cheddar and marmalade! Can’t say I’ve tried it….

  2. I can’t say I like the sound of the Chef’s recipe but my favourite is grated cheddar, mixed with cottage cheese and mayonnaise. Delicious!!
