Breakfast with a view in the Watergate Bay hotel in Newquay

I woke this morning to the most stunning view of the beach. It really set me up for the day and if it had been even just a little bit less chilly, I might have been tempted by a swim in the sea!

Instead, I wrapped up warm and stood on the balcony of my room to embrace the view, before heading to breakfast. There was plenty of choice in the buffet and I opted for a strange combination of bagel, mushrooms, smoked salmon and cream cheese. The mushrooms being the strange element in the mix! All pretty delicious too and washed down with a refreshing apple juice
