Am at a full day meeting in the Excelsior hotel in Dubrovnik. Having chosen a healthy breakfast option, by the time lunch came, I was famished and my stomach was rumbling in an most embarrassing way.
I was delighted when we got a lunch break- just to stop the rumbling!
The hotel restaurant, Sensus, enjoys stunning views of the Adriatic sea, the island of Lokrum opposite and Dubrovnik Old town
We were offered this steak with salad tower after a very unusual starter with vegetable and I’m not sure what else!
I didn’t fancy the gateaux dessert so the waiter kindly offered me some fresh fruit as an alternative
