The Old Inn, Crawfordsburn is one of the oldest hotels in Ireland and the thatched part of the building dates back to 1614. It boasts some amazing visitors in the past, including Dick Turpin when he was in hiding in Ireland! CS Lewis and his literary mates used to hang out here too! The inn is in the village of Crawfordsburn which is situated between Holywood and the seaside town of Bangor
The other half was given a gift voucher for his birthday so here we are after a bit of a debate over who would drive. I had to concede that as it was his voucher, it would be me!
